Mary Ellen Clancy of Peoria passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Mary Ellen was born in Chicago on August 17, 1949, to Stephen and Mary Foran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig, and later, her husband, Geza Wagner; her brother, Stephen Foran; her sister, Celine Marshall; and her nephews, John and Michael Dolenak.

Mary Ellen is survived by her sister, Irene (James) Kijanowski; and nieces and nephews, Denise (Andrea) Lee, Joyce (Vincent) Shumate, Kim Kijanowski, David (Beth) Kijanowski, Megan Foran and Beth (Brad) Mueller; as well as several great-nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

Prior to moving to Peoria, Mary Ellen resided in Chicago, where she earned an English degree from Rosary College and worked for many years at Illinois Bell Telephone Company, working her way up from operator to management.
