Nehzat Farnoody - Salehian, (born Dec 12, 1946) is an American- Iranian psychologist, with a specialty in Cross-Cultural Psychology. She is a clinical psychologist in private practice with an emphasis on the “NeuroScience Foundation of Behavior”.

She is also a member of the American Psychologist Association and the Vice President of the Iranian American Psychological Association. She has been a host in many TV and Radio programs, in a psychological context. She is also an author and translator of several books and has published articles in many local magazines in Southern California.
Early Life
Farnoody earned a B.A. in Psychology from Iran Girls’ College, in Iran, Tehran in 1968, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the Kansas State University of Emporia in 1972, and a Ph.D.
