Paging Andy Cohen—what ever happened to our city’s favourite elite women, the Real Housewives of Vancouver? Ever since Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel touched down in the Lower Mainland (and started posting all about it), we’ve been thinking about our own short-lived version of the reality juggernaut.

The local show aired first in 2012, giving us only two seasons of petty drama amid the lavish lifestyles of wealthy Vancouver women—not all of whom are actually “housewives.” It starred “self-made woman” Jody Claman, the then-owner of Glass House Couture; two-time divorcee Christina Kiesel; sports car enthusiast Reiko MacKenzie; winery owner Ronnie Stevenson Negus; and former beauty queen and singer Mary Zilba.

After its debut, Kiesel and MacKenzie exited the show, while new housewives Amanda Hansen, Robin Reichman, and Ioulia Reynolds joined the second and—sadly—final season.
